Pollen season in Sydney

Dec. 13, 2019

Pollen Season in Sydney will finish early this year

The grass pollen season has ended early in the Sydney region this year. While it began as expected in October it has been a very brief and low count

season due to the ongoing drought and to the prevailing climactic conditions, bushfires and continuing lack of rain. Unfortunately, there have been many other factors

that have impacted the health of those who have asthma and hayfever (allergic rhinitis) so continuing on your regular medications is important and please take heed of the public health announcements as they are issued;

avoid heavy exercise outdoors and ensure your asthma plan is up to date, your reliever is with you at all times and that preventer medication is taken correctly.
